The Saltaires
Founded in 1989, The Saltaires have been bringing the finest in men’s a cappella singing to the Wasatch Front for over 35 years. With a rich tradition of performing throughout the Rocky Mountain region, The Saltaires are known for their dynamic four-part barbershop harmonies. From collaborations with The Utah Symphony at Abravanel Hall, Snowbird, and Deer Valley to festivals in iconic venues like the Salt Lake Tabernacle, LDS Conference Center, and Assembly Hall on Temple Square, they’ve captivated audiences across Utah. Performances have taken them to Zions National Park in Southern Utah, The Ellen Eccles Theater in Logan, and beyond.
Competing annually within the Barbershop Harmony Society, The Saltaires proudly placed 9th in the world at the 2019 convention in Salt Lake City. With a commitment to perfecting their craft, the chorus continually enhances performance, singing, and audience engagement. Their motto? “Creating joy through a cappella music and sincere friendship.”
The Saltaires are honored to be named “Cultural Ambassadors of the State of Utah” by the Governor and are recipients of the prestigious Governor’s Mansion Artist Award.
