SUMMARY:David Park at Orem Library Hall
DESCRIPTION:David H. Park started playing the violin at the age of five in Seoul\, Korea. Since coming to the United States in 1976 at the age of seven\, Park has studied with some of the most distinguished artists and teachers\, such as Jascha Heifetz\, Josef Gringold\, Dorothy Delay and Yuval Yaron\, He received  his Bachelor of Music at the University of Indiana\, and Master of Music at the Juilliard School. Park made his New York debut performing Vivaldi’s Four Seasons in Carnegie Hall.  His concerts were broadcast nationally in France by France Musique during his debut with the Aix-en-Provence Music Festival. He received the coveted Global Music Award for his debut solo CD\, Violin Medications.  He debut Kreisler album was sold-out in the first week of release in 2020. He has performed concertos of Tchaikovsky\, Brahms\, Beethoven\, Burch and Vivaldi’s Four Seasons in cities such as Los Angeles and New York and made his anticipated London debut playing on a Stradivari from Beare’s International Violin Society. Park appeared on the cover of Fanfare magazine in 2023 and has performed three times at Carnegie Hall as well as the historic United Nations Ballroom in London receiving a 5-star review from Fanfare. Park plays a 1692 ‘Earl Falmouth” Stradivari violin.  \n\n\n\nLarry Gee. Larry was Assistant Conductor of New York City Opera\, received his Master of Music at Indiana University\, and has been a professor at University of Utah and Snow College.
